Microsoft Malaysia has launched the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 officially and announced its availability throughout Malaysia. At only 8.4mm thin, the Surface Pro 4 comes with the latest Microsoft Windows 10 Pro operating system and Intel’s sixth-generation Intel Core m, Core i5 and Core i7 processors. With the latest Skylake processors, the Surface Pro 4 is 30 percent more powerful than its predecessor and runs quieter, cooler and more efficiently.
One of five artworks showcased from savant artist Delwin Cheah, the artworks shared during the launch are designed on the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
The Surface Pro 4 is housed in a sleek and sturdy magnesium case and features all the ports that make the Surface lineup unique. These include USB3.0, a microSD card reader, and Mini DisplayPort that’s capable of connecting to 4K displays. It also features a 12.3-inch touch sensitive PixelSense display with a 3:2 aspect ratio for comfortable viewing and note-taking.
Malaysian graffiti artist, Muhammad Fakhrul Akmal (Mile09) featured a graffiti mural at the launch and had this to say, “I wanted to highlight Malaysia from past to present. The Surface Pro 4 allowed me to do just that and the experience was exhilarating. The Surface pen and screen works precisely and as natural as a regular pen and paper. Once I’ve completed my sketch, it was easy for me to then visualise my artwork on a larger canvas. I also don’t have to worry about losing my artwork or damaging them as I now save them on OneDrive, and am able to retrieve and refer to them whenever I want.”
